By Nick Turner, Director of IT Operations, Accruent
At Accruent, we’re building our portfolio of purpose-built Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions to manage real estate properties. We require maximum uptime, resilient disaster recovery and speedy storage for terabytes of customer data. As such, managed services through Rackspace have been a crucial part of our strategy.
So when Accruent acquires a new company, the question is not if the infrastructure will move to Rackspace – it’s a question of when.
At Rackspace::Solve Chicago 2014, a one-day summit series, I will be speaking on how Accruent’s constantly optimizing our platforms. For example, we recently completed a five-month migration of our Siterra software to Rackspace. During the presentation, I’ll share our experience with updating the infrastructure for companies that join the Accruent family and share tips on how to effectively optimize infrastructure and eliminate points of failure.
Want to hear more about how Accruent solves for hypergrowth in a SaaS world? Come to Rackspace::Solve Chicago on Monday, October 20th and hear directly from Nick Turner, Director of IT Operations at Accruent. Other companies scheduled to speak at Rackspace::Solve Chicago include Kendra Scott, Razorfish, the University of Notre Dame and Zipline Labs. The event is free and open to everyone. Registration is now open.
