Mark Friedman
Chief Executive Officer

thumbnail_Mark_FriedmanMark Friedman founded Accruent in 1995 and established the company as the leading provider of enterprise location management solutions. Accruent's solutions are used by 20% of the Fortune 500 and 40% of the Top 100 Retailers. In his role as CEO, Mark is responsible for directing Accruent's overall vision, corporate strategy and operations.

Under his leadership, the company received two Dorsey Awards for excellence in customer service, was recognized as Software Developer of the Year in 2006, and was named to the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50 list for the last seven consecutive years for achieving outstanding revenue growth.

Mark was recognized as a finalist for the Entrepreneur of the Year award, was named as one of the Top 30 People to Watch in commercial real estate, and was recognized as one of the Top 40 People Under 40 in retail. He is also a recipient of the BridgeGate20 Award.

Mark holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Tulane University's School of Engineering.

Van Goodrich
Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Van Goodrich directs the company's corporate accounting, financial planning, reporting, and is also responsible for human resources.

Prior to joining Accruent, Van was with Deloitte & Touche for 5 years in the Los Angeles and Sydney, Australia office where he worked in their Assurance & Advisory Technology Practice. During that time he participated in filing multiple IPOs for companies with a total market cap of $3.7 billion as well as helped complete several acquisitions of publicly traded companies.

Van is a CPA, licensed in the State of California. He has a BS Degree from California State, Long Beach.

Peter West
Senior Vice President, Marketing

Peter West brings more than 25 years of enterprise software experience to Accruent, having managed marketing, development, service, and sales organizations in North America and Europe. As Senior Vice President of Marketing, Peter is responsible for business development, marketing communications and field marketing, and works with Accruent’s partners to define and build the enterprise location management market.

Peter was a member of the executive team that grew ASK Computer Systems from $4M to $400M. He has served as an officer of both public and private companies, including Avalon Software, Platinum Software, and RiverOne. Peter spent three years with AMR Research, a leading industry analyst firm, as Vice President and General Manager. As principal of GOTOMARKET, Inc., a marketing consulting firm, Peter has worked with more than 20 software companies to achieve strategic change. In his corporate, analyst, and consulting roles, Peter has been a driving force in the definition and development of new enterprise application markets.

Peter holds a B.Sc. in computer science from the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom.

Mike Ellis
Advisor to the Board of Directors

Mike founded FAMIS Software, Inc. in 1985 and served as president and chief executive officer until the company was acquired by Accruent in February 2008. Under his leadership, FAMIS became one of the foremost facilities management solution companies serving over 150 organizations, primarily in higher education and the public sector. Mike designed and programmed the first version of FAMIS and has guided every step of its evolution.

Since 2008, Mike has led the successful integration of the FAMIS team into Accruent, and served for two years as Senior Vice President, Product Management with responsibility for planning all of Accruent’s product investments.

Now Mike brings his expertise to the company as advisor to the board. In particular, he provides guidance on how best to serve our higher education customers and expand our presence in that market.

Anand Rau
Vice President, Engineering

As Vice President of Engineering, Anand leads Accruent's engineering organization and is responsible for development of all Accruent product lines. Prior to Accruent, Anand had more than 19 years of software development and product management experience in delivering enterprise-class, mission-critical software applications. He has successfully developed and launched products in several markets, including IT risk management, supply chain management, industrial automation, and medical devices. Anand is known both for his technology and team leadership skills.

A proven entrepreneur, Anand was a co-founder and vice president of engineering at RiverOne, Inc., where he served as chief architect for solutions that run complex supply chains for companies representing around 25% of the global electronics industry. Following RiverOne’s acquisition by i2 Technologies (ITWO), Anand established i2’s offices in Southern California and also led the integration process. His diverse career spans software development and leadership roles at organizations ranging from startups to Hewlett Packard Company, and includes both domestic and offshore development and both on-premise and hosted delivery. Most recently, Anand architected and delivered a revolutionary solution for IT risk management.

Anand holds Master Of Science degrees in Computer Science and in Physics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Massachusetts.
Bart Waldeck
Vice President, Product and Industry Marketing

As Vice President of Product and Industry Marketing, Bart Waldeck is responsible for Accruent’s product vision and strategy, along with overall product positioning and messaging. Additional responsibilities include the identification of ecosystem partners and solution evangelism.

Bart brings more than 12 years of industry experience in software and real estate to Accruent, with specific focus on enterprise real estate management and performance. Prior to joining Accruent, Bart was VP of Business Development at Lucernex Technologies, a real estate lifecycle software pioneer. He has also held executive positions as Managing Director at NorthStar Advisory Group, Manager of Financial Services at CB Richard Ellis, and worked for Accenture in their global retail practice.

Bart received his BS in Economics from Northern Illinois University, and his MBA in International Marketing & Finance from the Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University.

David Kim
Senior Director, Product Management

As Senior Director of Product Management, David Kim leads Accruent’s product management team and is responsible for ensuring that the Accruent and FAMIS product lines meet the current and future needs of the customers they serve.

 

David brings over 10 years of product management leadership experience in the enterprise software industry, developing solutions that deliver maximum ROI across a wide cross-section of industries and business processes. Prior to joining Accruent, David served as Director of Product Management for Experian, overseeing the delivery of a product line serving the highest growth segment of Experian's customer base. David's varied experience also spans product management leadership positions at i2 Technologies and Kirus Solutions and management consulting at PRTM.

 

David has an MBA and Master's degree in Engineering from Stanford University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University.

Ginnie Nerurkar
Vice President, Information Technology

As Vice President of Information Technology, Ginnie Nerurkar is responsible for delivery of hosted solutions and services to Accruent customers, as well as leading Accruent’s internal information services.

Ginnie brings Accruent significant expertise in developing and managing IT infrastructure and software hosting operations. A 20-year IT veteran, Ginnie served as a leader in information management at T-Mobile, where she was responsible for their real estate information management team. She also served as Vice President of Information Technology at Boullioun Aviation Services, and assisted the company in its goal of becoming one of the top 3 aircraft leasing companies in the world.

Ginnie received her BS in Business Law from Kinman Business University and a BS in Information Technology from University of Phoenix.
Jeffrey Peel
Vice President, Professional Services

Jeff Peel Web

As Vice President of Professional Services, Jeffrey Peel is responsible for understanding customer’s goals and objectives and ensuring their successful achievement through the delivery of Accruent solutions. In this role, Jeff also works closely with Accruent’s Engineering team and assists with product implementation readiness.

Jeff has been with Accruent for over 10 years and has intimate knowledge of Accruent’s customer base and solutions. His background in Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management, and application design provides a unique perspective that has enhanced implementation practices. Prior to joining Accruent, Jeff held positions at PriceWaterhouseCoopers and ComTek Cadd Company. Jeff's skills have been applied to information management solutions in the corporate, pharmaceutical, retail, and financial services industries.

Jeff has a Bachelor of Engineering and an MBA from the Stevens Institute of Technology.

Melissa Sitton
Senior Director, Customer Support

As Senior Director, Customer Support, Melissa Sitton is responsible for the management and delivery of customer service, including Support and Client Management. Melissa’s primary objective is to deliver long-term value to Accruent’s customers through a singular focus on customer satisfaction and success.

 

Since joining Accruent in 2005, Melissa has played an integral role in serving Accruent’s customers through client management, solution design and delivery, and has acted as a customer advocate within the organization. Melissa’s background includes strategy and transformation consulting and real estate and supply chain software and consulting. Prior to joining Accruent, Melissa held positions with Ariba, Lucernex, and Ernst & Young/Cap Gemini.

Melissa received a Bachelor of Communications from Ouachita Baptist University.

Tim Langan
Vice President, Data Services

As Vice President, Data Services, Tim Langan is responsible for Accruent’s data transformation business. His team uses a patented process to deliver best in class quality data to our clients enabling immediate ROI at implementation. Over the past two years Accruent has delivered over 99.95% client verified accuracy. This business includes the abstraction of legal documents such as leases as well as other less technical document types. It also focuses on ongoing data work for Accruent clients around lease abstraction, maintenance scheduling, and administration activities

Tim developed his expertise in process and technology during his 17 years in supply chain and manufacturing management and consulting. Prior to joining Accruent Tim ran regional sales for Connection to eBay, a venture funded by eBay and Accenture focused on managing online eBay sales for large companies. He was also a General Manager at Simplexis (acquired by publicbuy) running the Co-op vertical delivering B2B ecommerce solutions in the education space. Tim began his career at General Motors holding various positions including Plant Operations Manager in Mexico City, Mexico and Plant Quality Manager in the USA.

Tim has an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Purdue.
