CoStar Group and Accruent have formed a technology and marketing partnership to develop and market an integrated solution that will provide on-demand access to CoStar's commercial real estate data from within Accruent's software.

This solution will provide retailers with an enormous opportunity to increase their revenues, reduce site selection and lease management costs, and have greater predictability of their business performance, by providing on-demand property intelligence for key real estate decisions. When retailers enter markets and make site selection decisions, using the latest property information is critical. The solution will automate data entry and site selection processes. For example, searching for sites with specific space availabilities, demographics and leasing or co-tenancy requirements would produce results in a matter of minutes and virtually eliminate the need to manually enter details for numerous locations. The two companies are working to develop additional capabilities in the future, such as automatic alerts that, for example, would allow a retailer in a shopping center know when an anchor tenant leaves or if that center's vacancy rate falls beyond a certain occupancy threshold, which could violate lease co-tenancy provisions.

CoStar Group, Inc. (Nasdaq - CSGP) is the number one provider of information services to commercial real estate professionals in the United States as well as the United Kingdom. CoStar's suite of services offers approximately 75,000 customers access via the Internet to the most comprehensive database of commercial real estate information in 121 metro Core Based Statistical Areas throughout the U.S. as well as in the United Kingdom and France

Accruent and Pitney BowesMapInfo can solve critical Location Intelligence needs such as how to: prioritize sites and markets for expansion; maximize market share and per unit performance; determine which locations to close, which to renovate; identify and improve under-performing locations; and mitigate cannibalization. For instance, as leases come up for renewal, sites can be evaluated to determine if moving to an alternative location could increase unit profitability and overall market share for the chain.

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
