March 22, 2017 - Offers Broader Suite of Solutions to Increase Customer Value
Austin, Texas, March 22, 2017 – Accruent, the world’s leading provider of software and services that enable organizations to shape, drive, manage and control their physical assets, recorded another strong year in 2016. The company expanded its market leadership by delivering competitive solutions, leveraging new partnerships, and developing customer relationships around the globe.
Accruent grew software bookings by 27 percent and revenue by 16 percent. The company also increased employee headcount by 37 percent and delivered 170 implementation go-lives, a 22 percent year-over-year increase. Through organic growth and acquisitions, Accruent added more than 750 new customers, bringing the total number of the company’s customers to over 5,800. New customers include large organizations in telecommunications, utilities, healthcare, and the public sector, as well as key international organizations in Germany and the United Kingdom. In addition, customers around the globe can now benefit from Accruent’s expanded and growing partner community.
Accruent’s history of leadership and growth attracted Genstar Capital, the company’s new owner, further validating Accruent’s mission and vision. With the acquisitions of Mainspring Healthcare Solutions, BIGCenter, and Verisae, Accruent now offers a much broader set of solutions that bring together the ability for organizations to strategically plan, to crisply execute, and to proactively manage daily operations. Through technologies leveraging big data and the Internet of Things (IoT), Accruent’s solutions increase value to customers more than ever – enabling organizations to optimize and manage the entire scope of their investments in real estate, facilities, and assets.
In 2016, Accruent conducted facility condition assessments on more than 5 billion square feet in over 180,000 facilities in more than 50 countries. The product development team delivered 116 product releases including deep functional support for users preparing to transfer their leases in compliance with the new FASB 842 standards, the integration of work order data with capital planning requirements, the ability to analyze an organization’s future work with strategic resource capacity planning, a mobile-first development approach in new/redesigned mobile apps, and the further development of IoT capabilities with the inclusion of weather data to automate the creation of work orders.
According to the 2017 Market Guide for Integrated Workplace Management Systems, “During 2017, Gartneri expects to see IWMS vendors build out their capabilities to take advantage of IoT and AI.” Accruent had recognized and capitalized on this technology disruption with acquisitions and product releases in 2016.
“For Accruent, 2016 was a step-change year in our ability to provide value to our customers,” said John Borgerding, CEO of Accruent. “We will continue to be guided by the needs of our customers and will invest in solutions to help them manage the complete scope of their physical assets.”
