Why you want to work for our Product Management team:

Within our Product Management team, you will be involved throughout the entire lifecycle of our products. The team supports our customers and drives the development of new features to help them manage their physical resources. We are customer-focused, ensuring our products deliver value in every aspect.

The Product Manager will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to manage the product lifecycle stages for Accruent’s big data product lines. The product manager should understand market problems, software development capabilities, available technologies and define a product that is compelling to the market and can be delivered by the engineering organization. The product manager will represent business stakeholders and be responsible for building a well-defined product roadmap that is aligned with product strategy and informed with analysis and voice of customer.

The product manager is responsible for defining release timelines in conjunction with stakeholders. They are also responsible for clear communication internally and externally as well as positioning their products with customers.

This role will be working with/on our Accruent Fabric product. Accruent Fabric is a cloud-based ecosystem that enables organizations who manage physical assets to leverage the value of their existing data and systems by providing a set of central services and solutions to enable data sharing, cross-functional workflows and multi-source analytics.

This position reports directly to the Director of Big Data Strategy for Accruent and can be located remotely or in our New Orleans, Louisiana.

How you'll make a difference

  • Develops product roadmap and go-to-market strategies including creating supporting business cases for recommend initiatives.
  • Supports sales and marketing in efforts to create and implement product strategy – including engagements with partners and analysts
  • Positions the product for marketing, to include developing criteria for fit and proposed customer targets,
  • Responsible for product lifecycle states for the entire product line
  • Participates actively in win/loss calls.
  • Assists in Product pricing
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to determine trends and propose solutions.
  • Desire and ability to learn standard business practices related to Accruent Product Lines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Desire and ability to seek out external data sources and arrive at data led conclusions.

What you bring to the table: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent degree/experience.
  • General understanding of ETL, statistics, data manipulation and cleaning processes
  • Basic understanding of machine learning and natural language processing methodologies
  • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products with strong Microsoft Excel experience.
  • Experience with Aha, Jira or similar product development tools
  • Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • MBA a plus
  • Familiarity with facilities capital equipment, maintenance, lifecycle, and equipment purchasing workflows
  • Experience with python, R, BI tools, SQL, web application technologies
  • Experience with pragmatic marketing framework a plus
