Our Legal Team 

Our Legal team is comprised of trusted advisors and operates in a lean, fast-paced, dynamic environment.  By working collaboratively across the company, you will be instrumental in driving growth, scale and continuous improvement in the business.  

The Role:  

Accruent is looking for an experienced individual to join its Legal team as a Legal Analyst, Labor and Compliance.  This person will perform complex legal analytical, paralegal and administrative functions requiring reasonable independent judgment and discretion in support of various aspects of Accruent’s business. This includes support of various labor and employment matters and company-wide compliance initiatives. This person will also support business teams, in-house and outside legal counsel, and will have direct contact with internal stakeholders and external parties. This person will play a key role on the Legal team by working on various labor law research projects, compliance initiatives, and other administrative activities. All in a fast-paced environment, and, in each case, while ensuring corporate guidelines and ethical standards are consistently met. 

This position reports directly to our Senior Compliance Counsel. 

How you'll make a difference 

  • Support the drafting of employment contracts, policies, and responses to labor / governmental authorities.  
  • Assist with the review and analysis of legal documents and notices related to labor disputes, terminations, and workplace issues.  
  • Research various labor and employment laws, regulations, and legal questions. 
  • Support the Company’s incident reporting and investigation process. 
  • Assist with the third-party risk management program. 
  • Develop and lead programs to promote timely completion of compliance training modules.  
  • Work collaboratively with in-house and outside counsel, internal stakeholders, vendors, and labor authorities to answer questions and resolve issues.  
  • Assist with the management of processes and operations related to the Legal team. 
  • Promote our culture of continuous improvement by identifying potential process improvements and supporting projects that drive operational efficiency and streamline existing policies and processes, including the use of AI and automations. 
  • Ensure that all assigned activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner. 
  • Support other related and additional responsibilities that may be required or assigned from time to time. 

You'll stand out if you have 

  • Advanced interpersonal, verbal and written skills in English. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Experience supporting a legal department’s labor and employment function, strongly preferred. 
  • Knowledge of and experience with Brazilian state and national labor laws, regulations and compliance requirements. 
  • Knowledge of and experience with labor laws, regulations and compliance requirements in other key regions, including North America, EMEA and Australia 
  • Prior experience supporting internal company compliance programs, strongly preferred. 
  • College degree in a relevant field, such as legal or business, strongly preferred.
