Chief Marketing Officer
As Chief Marketing Officer, Meg Swanson directs brand, demand generation, and market leadership for Accruent's global presence. She has more than 18 years of technology marketing, advertising and branding experience. Prior to Accruent, Meg was the Vice President of Marketing for IBM where she led marketing for cloud and developers, one of IBM's fastest growing digital businesses. While at IBM, Meg led marketing both domestically and across the global expanding businesses in Asia, China, Latin America and Europe through both direct sales and business partner outreach.
Meg has extensive experience in Internet security, running marketing for the security division of IBM and Internet Security Systems. She also led marketing for technology architectural products for PolyVision, the technology division of Steelcase. Meg has been named one of the Top Women in Technology by Silicon Angle.
She graduated from the Kellogg School of Management's CMO program, has her MBA from Emory's Goizueta Business School and her BA from The Florida State University.
