Newcastle Falcons Welcome Accruent As New Official Club Partner
Newcastle Falcons are delighted to welcome on board a new official club partner, Accruent, the global leader in Physical Resource Management software and related services. Accruent, headquartered in Austin, Texas, has a large international footprint including UK offices in London and Newcastle, as well as offices in the Netherlands, Germany, France and Finland.
As part of the partnership, the Accruent logo will be featured on pitch side hoardings at both Kingston Park and St. James Park for several high-profile rugby matches. In addition, Accruent will enjoy hospitality at the Heineken Champions Cup Final (11 May) and the friendly between England and Italy (6 September).
Welcoming the new partnership, Newcastle Falcons head of commercial John Oates said: “We are looking forward to developing a strong partnership with such a strong global brand. We aim to assist Accruent in creating brand awareness, introducing them to potential clients and to provide a quality hospitality experience where they will build relationships with their customers.”
As a company that helps clients manage the physical world, Accruent is also committed to giving back to the communities in which it operates. “Sponsorship of the Falcons goes beyond the pitch,” according to Marius van Aswegen, Managing Director at Kykloud. “We are certainly excited to be connected to the game of rugby at the Premiership level. However, our sponsorship will also aim to help the Falcons make an impact in the Newcastle community. Through the Falcons Community Foundation, their School programme and Health initiatives, the club is active in the community and we are pleased to support them as they make a difference in people’s lives.”
Engagement with rugby reflects Accruent’s growing global presence. “We are delighted to form a partnership with the Newcastle Falcons to engage with the communities in which we are expanding internationally,” added Andrew Schafer, SVP and Managing Director, International at Accruent. “Being South African and growing up with rugby, I look forward to all the excitement the games bring and sharing that with colleagues, customers and partners alike.”
