2015 Joint Commission Updates on Life Safety

The Joint Commission has made several updates to Life Safety within its 2015 updates. These waivers are important for healthcare organizations to understand, as they may affect your accreditation:

Egress Doors

LS.02.01.20, EP 1 clarified that means-of-egress doors are not equipped with a latch/lock requiring a tool/key from egress side.
