5 Joint Commission Resources
By Lora Mays, Product Marketing Manager
Keeping tabs on the latest news and updates from the Joint Commission can be challenging. Luckily, there are some great resources on the web to help:
The Joint Commission has partnered with the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) to provide information to reduce non-compliance in several Standards frequently cited in surveys over the past few years. Thus far, the Joint Commission has released a Utility Systems module, which will be followed by one covering automated suppression systems.
Earlier this year, our subject-matter experts conducted a webinar to discuss key updates released by the Joint Commission in 2015. View a recorded video of the session here.
In a recent blog post, we detailed some key regulatory reports for hospitals that help ensure that you are approved for a regulatory audit. Within the post, we include some sample reports and key information that you should cover within your reporting methods.
Receive updates about the Joint Commission changes and news right to your inbox. Register for the e-Alerts, which allows you to choose which types of alerts you would like to receive, as well as the frequency (daily or weekly). Sign up for these e-alerts here.
Access more information related to the Physical Environment Portal through ASHE and its new “Focus on Compliance” section. Here, you can also sign up for updates to be first to know when new updates are released.
