Today, technology analyst firm Gartner published its 2019 Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) applications.

For the second consecutive year, Accruent’s Maintenance Connection was featured in that report. A Gartner Magic Quadrant is a representation of research in a specific market that attempts to show the relative positions of the market’s competitors. A Magic Quadrant places market participants in quadrants based on their completeness of vision (“How complete is the product?”) and their ability to execute (“Are they bringing in new customers and serving the existing ones well?”).

Accruent’s Maintenance Connection was the only product placed in the Challengers quadrant and was rated among the top three products for the company’s ability to execute. Being rated among the very best in ability to execute is especially significant as many of the criteria used to evaluate execution are based on feedback provided directly from existing Maintenance Connection customers. This positive customer feedback reflects Accruent’s commitment to customer success and Maintenance Connection’s ability to deliver value by helping customers manage maintenance work orders and the assets that are critical to achieving their missions.

In the Gartner’s 2019 Enterprise Asset Management software evaluations, Maintenance Connection was one of only four products whose position in the Magic Quadrant improved in both their vision and ability to execute. Significantly, Maintenance Connection was the only product to improve its position while also being rated highly for its ability to execute.

Among the attributes that were rated highly by Gartner were:

  • Maintenance Connection’s ability to understand customer needs, and its service and support as demonstrated by customer ratings.
  • Maintenance Connection’s position in the Accruent portfolio and the company’s demonstrated ability to build out and integrate future new functionality.
  • Accruent’s integration of our Meridian (Engineering Document Management) solution with Maintenance Connection, allowing maintenance technicians to access asset technical documents directly from work orders, leading to improved fix times, reduced searching for current documents and improved safety of maintenance workers.
  • Maintenance Connection’s high number of satisfied customers and its expanding global network of third-party implementation partners.

Gartner’s 2019 Magic Quadrant evaluation underscores Accruent’s commitment to serve manufacturers, utilities, and other asset-intensive industries as well as the results Accruent customers are delivering to their organizations.

Accruent’s Maintenance Connection is a market-leading, cloud-based CMMS/EAM used by nearly 1,400 global customers.
