Beyond Reactive Maintenance: Intelligent Refrigeration Operations

Wednesday, 15th July

11:00-11:45 AM (BST) / 12:00-12:45 PM (CEST)

Refrigeration operations are becoming more complex, more connected and more critical to business performance than ever before.

Across food retail, cold chain, healthcare and critical facilities, organizations are under increasing pressure to maintain reliable refrigeration performance while managing energy efficiency, compliance requirements, aging assets and limited engineering resources.

At the same time:

  • Maintenance teams are managing increasingly distributed estates
  • Operational visibility is often fragmented across assets and systems
  • Downtime continues to create significant cost and disruption
  • Organizations are looking for more proactive ways to manage maintenance and performance

So, what are leading organizations doing differently?

Join Matt Murphy, Senior Product Architect, IoT at Accruent, and Justin Southwick, Head of Digital and Test Laboratories at Carter Thermal Industries Group, for a conversational industry discussion exploring how refrigeration operations are evolving — from reactive maintenance toward more predictive, data-driven approaches that improve visibility, reduce operational risk and support engineering teams more effectively.

In this session, you'll explore:

  • Why reactive maintenance is becoming increasingly difficult to sustain
  • The operational impact of refrigeration downtime across estates
  • How refrigerant compliance becomes an enterprise-wide challenge
  • How predictive maintenance is being applied in real operational environments
  • How improved visibility is changing how engineering teams respond and prioritize
  • How organizations are reducing unnecessary callouts and improving efficiency
  • What next-generation, intelligent refrigeration operations look like in practice
