Accruent & ABP Solutions Expand Partnership to Help Singapore Companies

Emphasis on Engineering Information and Maintenance Management Software for Industrial and Asset-Intensive Organizations.

Austin, TX, April 23, 2019 – Accruent, the world’s leading provider of physical resource management solutions, announced today that it has signed an agreement with technology provider ABP Solutions to extend and expand the partnership between the companies. Under the new agreement, ABP Solutions will distribute, implement, and support all Accruent software products in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, India, and China. ABP will focus on cloud and on-premise implementations of Maintenance Connection (cloud-based CMMS/CAFM) and Meridian (engineering document management) software products.

A 2018 Peerless Research Group survey found that while 94% of companies surveyed consider maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) critical to their success, only 45% have implemented a CMMS or CAFM software tool to manage maintenance. Because use of CMMS software can help companies reduce asset failures, shorten asset downtime, optimize maintenance workflows, and lower the cost of maintenance and repair across the organization, that number is expected to continue growing.

In addition, an increasing number of organizations are turning to engineering document management systems (EDMS) to manage technical information. EDMS, such as Accruent’s Meridian, establish an always-available, secure, repository for engineering documentation. Use of an EDMS can help organizations assure regulatory compliance, avoid injuries, reduce maintenance expenses, and streamline handoffs between construction, project, and operating teams. Use of EDMS is growing rapidly globally, especially in Asia.
