The new 105,000-square-foot headquarters will unite the over 450 local employees from Accruent’s two current Austin offices.
Austin, Texas – Nov. 29, 2016 – Accruent, the world’s leading provider of real estate, facilities and asset management software, is expanding into new global headquarters in Austin. Located in The Domain in north Austin, the new facility is part of a multi-purpose business, retail and residential center designed to nurture the company’s culture and enable employees to thrive.
The new headquarters will unite the over 450 employees from Accruent’s two current Austin offices. Accruent has been recognized by the Austin Business Journal as employing the second largest number of software developers in Austin, and the new 105,000-square-foot facility is large enough to accommodate the company’s continued growth.
“Our company culture and our growth aspirations go hand in hand,” said Accruent CEO John Borgerding. “This move allows us to continue investing in that culture with a convenient, comfortable and creative work environment, while facilitating the company’s tremendous growth plans for the years ahead. We look forward to welcoming our employees and customers to our new offices.”
The building has a rich and continuing history in Austin’s tech world, and the neighborhood is home to a growing number of high-tech companies. It is also adjacent to Rock Rose, The Domain’s popular new shopping and entertainment hub.
The biggest impact of Accruent’s new home is found inside the building. A high-ceilinged, open interior and mix of standing desks and low-walled work areas encourage interaction and collaboration. The combination of desirable location, workspace and culture paves the way for Accruent’s continued growth and enhances its stature as an employer of choice.
The move comes on the heels of two significant acquisitions by Accruent: BIGCenter, a top-ranked provider of Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS) and Verisae, a leading provider of cloud-based solutions that connect facilities and assets to the maintenance and service network through the Internet of Things (IoT).
