Accruent – News - Accruent Receives Oracle Cloud Innovation Award for Data Integration

Customers gain business insights from capital planning and facility management solutions.

Austin, TX, October 30, 2018 – Accruent, the world’s leading provider of physical resource management solutions, received a 2018 Oracle Cloud Platform Innovation Award for data integration during Oracle OpenWorld last week.

The market for enterprise asset management (EAM) applications is forecast to reach $2.5 billion by 2022, according to IDC's "Worldwide Enterprise Asset Management Applications Forecast, 2018–2022: EAM and Its Emerging Role in Customer Service". One of the challenges that companies will face as they adopt EAM is data management. “As the number of data sources available to the asset manager continues to grow (sensors, spatial data, visual data, etc.), managing, merging, and analyzing these pools of data at speed will be a tremendous challenge for EAM professionals over the next five years.”

Accruent was recognized for its use of Oracle solutions in Accruent Analytics, allowing customers to manage and extract business insights from Accruent’s capital planning and facility management solutions.

“Accruent’s large-scale implementation using Oracle Cloud was unique,” said Jeff Pollock, Vice President of Product Management, Oracle. “Accruent was selected a winner for its innovative use of Oracle products, enabling real-time visibility into their analytics and improved efficiencies; the benefits of which they were able to pass on to their customers.”

Oracle Data Integration products deliver low-impact, real-time data integration, fast bulk data transformation, and reliable data quality to provide timely, and trusted, heterogeneous data across the enterprise. Its products enable improved business insights, decreased cost of ownership, higher online transaction processing (OLTP) performance, and 24x7, continuous data availability for mission-critical systems.

This year’s Oracle Cloud Platform Innovation awards honor customers and partners who are on the cutting edge, creatively and innovatively using products across the Oracle Cloud Platform to deliver unique business value. The key selection criteria include innovative and/or visionary use of Oracle products, and a measurable level of impact such as return on investment.

“Accruent is thrilled to receive this Oracle Cloud innovation award as it reflects the benefits of our investments in innovation to offer better solutions that enable our customers to deliver on their missions,” said John Borgerding, CEO, Accruent. “We selected Oracle Cloud as the foundation for Accruent Analytics, which enables customers to create a holistic view of their asset portfolio, drawing on data from Accruent products as well as other enterprise applications, to facilitate optimal management of their physical assets.”

Accruent Analytics is a cloud application designed to enable customers to bring together data from multiple sources to deliver the insights they need to optimally manage their physical assets and related business processes. Utilizing cloud resources to store and transform a wealth of data and deliver near real-time information to the business intelligence engine, the solution enables rich visualizations of the condition and performance of asset portfolios. Data-driven insights accessible from customizable dashboards and reports help facility, asset and finance managers make more informed business decisions about investments in their physical assets.
