vx Maintain Brings the Needed Facilities Management Component to Regis to Allow for Better Strategic Decision Making
Minneapolis, MN, November 8, 2016 – Verisae, Inc., an Accruent company and a leading provider of cloud-based solutions that connect facilities and assets to the maintenance and service network through the Internet of Things (IoT), today announced that Regis Corporation has launched vx Maintain to manage facilities for its 6,850 North America salons, further adding to the company’s existing four year relationship with Accruent. With the addition of vx Maintain, Regis Corporation now utilizes a variety of Accruent’s solutions to assist with everything from building new salons to maintaining salons once opened.
Regis Corporation needed a solution to enable its facilities team to have a full picture of planned preventive maintenance and immediate maintenance needs at all times. With more than 15,000 work orders per month, the mobile dashboard gives managers complete visibility into work order status so issues do not arise or escalate. The use of web services provides access to 800 remote users and automates the management of system logins.
“We have been impressed with the speed and ease of getting vx Maintain up and running across our salons and training our staff to use the solution,” said Jim Boushee, Director Facilities Management at Regis Corporation. “Already, we have more immediate visibility into the health of our salons than ever before. We know who created a work order, who was assigned the work and when the work was completed.”
In order for Regis Corporation to streamline training for its hundreds of new vx Maintain users, the company created short demonstration videos that were well-received by the company’s employees. As a result, employees have been able to seamlessly incorporate the work order process into their day, while learning more about how the facilities team supports field users and requiring minimal direct support from Verisae.
“Regis Corporation exemplifies the benefits of using Accruent and Verisae solutions in tandem, from store conceptualization to facilities management,” said John Borgerding, CEO of Accruent. “By knowing exactly what they wanted and getting buy-in from field users, this implementation has been a home run for Regis.”
